This image of a surfer girl, is the epitome of “peak action.” Carol Cunningham who lives in Hawaii is one of the most published surf photographers. In this frozen moment in time, she has created a virtual water ballet as the surfer defies gravity, her feet seemingly glued to the vertical board, her arms gracefully spreading across the viewfinder and the fast shutter speed captures the spray as glistening droplets.
